Just off the South West Coast Path is Pebbles, a 18th Century former fisherman's cottage in the heart of the Lizard, Britain's most Southerly village. The cottage has been recently renovated to create light, soulful, space. It is conveniently situated within walking distance of some of the UK's most stunning and secluded coves.

INTRODUCTION
Pebbles is a soulful, light, traditional two-up two-down former fisherman's cottage recently renovated to create a stylish light and modern space. Despite its size, you'll find everything that you need, including some luxury touches such as a boiling water tap, wine fridge, range induction oven and nickel 'boat' bath. With white painted floorboards upstairs and the original slate flagstone flooring downstairs this cottage retains many of its original features and textures but with the comfort of modern-day fixtures and fittings. With a wild and rugged coastline and thriving community spirit, to immerse yourself in village life will make for an authentic Cornish stay. Located in a village but a stone's throw from the South West Coast path you have the best of both worlds - seconds from pubs, shops and cafes but also able to access on foot some of the country's most wild and secluded coastline.
INSIDE
Enter this double-fronted cottage into an open-plan living space - with a modern fitted kitchen (with boiling water tap), and newly installed log-burner. Past a linen curtain in the hallway is an extension housing a shower and a WC.
The bedrooms are upstairs, accessed via a door to a small staircase (so no stair gate is needed for little ones!). There are two generous-sized bedrooms with white wooden floor boards, jute rugs and built-in cupboards for your storage needs. The master bedroom has a king size wrought iron bed and luxury nickel boat bath tub. Porcelain wall lights on dimmers make the perfect cosy atmosphere. The second bedroom has twin divan beds. (which could be used as a super king for a second couple). There is also a Baby Bjorn travel cot for you to use with your own bedding if required. Both bedrooms have the option of custom black-out fabric in addition to the linen curtains if total darkness is required.
OUTSIDE
A courtyard can be enjoyed for some alfresco dining as well as providing access to an outhouse with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The outhouse is also a useful space for storing wetsuits, boogie boards, buggies or bikes.
Once you’ve parked up you won’t need to access the car again if you don't want to! The village is well equipped with pubs, farm shops and a post office. If you don't want any hassle you can arrange an on-line shop for your day of arrival from any of the large supermarket companies (not Ocado). If you are happy to get in the car you'll be spoilt for beaches and coastal villages to visit. Some of our favourite's include Kennack Sands, Cadgwith, Poldhu and Church Cove at Gunwalloe (many of which are also accessed on foot for the more adventurous walkers.)

We are happy to be free from the trappings of modern electronic devices so there is there is NO TV in the property. Please feel free to bring a screen/tablet/laptop to access TV via the Internet.
We allow a maximum of 4 people at the cottage plus a baby. If you have an older third child please contact us and we'll do our best to facilitate you.
